This piece was given to General Tommy Franks by President Karzai of Afghanistan. Theresa from Pirates Alley picked the perfect frame to exhibit this handmade 100% wool rug. This rug was donated by General Franks to a lodge for disabled veterans. It will hang there in honor of all our troops.  Thanks Theresa for all your help and "God Bless our Troops."

This piece is a collection of 3 x 3 original art by Oklahoma City teachers that have taught in an artistic field of some kind.  We put this together to honor the retirement of one of our contemporaries, Barbara Gable who was instrumental in the growth of the arts in OKC. Pirates Alley did a wonderful job of choosing the right combination to display this one of a kind piece of art.  Thank you to Rose and her crew for such a wonderful job.

 The San Francisco Marathon was my second marathon and definitely my favorite. Running across the Golden Gate Bridge was the best part, the scenery throughout the course was incredible. My goal was to run it in about 4 hours and it just so happened my official time was 4:00:00!!! It was an awesome day in my life in many ways and thanks to the artistic talent of Jai and the staff at Pirate’s Alley I have an outstanding illustration of that memorable day!
